Inspected Heatcraft walk-in freezer evaporator system, freezer box condition, panel seams, strip curtains, door assembly, gaskets, and evaporator operation during multiple service visits. Previously replaced freezer door gasket and strip curtains as part of prior corrective efforts to reduce moisture infiltration. During continued inspection, identified multiple wall and ceiling seam separations, excessive frost buildup, possible ceiling panel deflection, and evidence of ongoing air infiltration into the freezer box. Also observed exposed lower door kick plate condition and potential door frame heater damage. Upon inspection, found the evaporator coil iced over and drain pan requiring service. De-iced evaporator coil and drain pan, cleaned the interior freezer box, and cleared the condensate drain line to restore proper airflow and drainage. Tested drain pan heaters and verified proper operation. Also confirmed evaporator fans were operating correctly and monitored freezer performance after service. Unit reached and maintained 0°F prior to departure. During inspection, found the freezer door torque rod weak and not properly self-closing. Recommended replacement to help prevent future icing and temperature issues.
