Setpoint Services completed commercial HVAC preventive maintenance and walk-in freezer repair for Commercial Kitchen Factories in Round Rock, Texas.

During the HVAC service, the main kitchen air conditioning system was found not cooling properly. Inspection revealed extremely dirty air filters and a low R-22 refrigerant charge. Replaced the dirty air filters, vacuumed and cleaned the return-air grilles, thoroughly cleaned the condenser coils on both A/C systems, inspected overall system operation, and added R-22 refrigerant to restore the main kitchen unit to proper operating conditions. Both commercial A/C systems were restarted, tested, and verified to be cooling and operating properly after service.

Also completed a commercial walk-in freezer repair after finding the evaporator section had been shut down for defrosting. Diagnosed a disconnected middle evaporator fan motor, an incorrectly installed evaporator fan blade causing improper airflow, and a failed defrost termination/fan delay switch that was preventing the evaporator fans from operating. Reconnected the fan motor, replaced the fan blade with the correct orientation, replaced the defective fan delay switch, and cleaned the walk-in freezer condenser coil to improve airflow and heat transfer.

Final refrigeration readings showed a full, clear sight glass, 17 PSI suction pressure, and 250 PSI discharge pressure. The walk-in freezer was tested after repairs and verified to have proper fan operation, airflow, and refrigeration performance. Equipment was operating normally upon completion of service.
