Setpoint Services serviced a Daikin 18,000 BTU wall-mounted mini-split at Lake Austin Marina in Austin, Texas after finding the system low on refrigerant. Leak diagnosis identified a refrigerant leak at the suction service valve. The fitting was tightened and Leak Lock was applied as a temporary measure, with replacement of the leaking valve recommended for a permanent repair. Invoice 2661
The outdoor condenser coil and indoor evaporator coil were cleaned, and 2 lb 5 oz of R-410A refrigerant was added to restore the proper charge. Operating pressures and system performance were checked, with supply air measuring 47.4°F after service. The Daikin mini-split was operating and cooling normally at departure, with permanent replacement of the leaking suction service valve remaining as recommended follow-up work.
