Setpoint Services performed preventative maintenance on an Ice-O-Matic commercial ice machine at Margo's Liquor Store in Hutto, Texas. The machine was completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned using manufacturer-approved ice machine descaler and sanitizer. Mineral deposits, biofilm, and scale were removed from the evaporator plate, water distribution system, circulation components, sump, and ice storage bin. The condensate drain was cleaned, operational components were inspected, and the machine was reassembled and tested through a complete ice production cycle. Preventive maintenance improves sanitation, maintains ice quality, increases production efficiency, and helps prevent costly compressor and water system failures. The commercial ice machine was operating normally upon completion of service.
