Description of Work Performed

Arrived onsite in Cedar Park, Texas, to diagnose a reach-in glass door freezer that was not maintaining proper temperature. Confirmed compressor failure and replaced the failed compressor with a new OEM-compatible Embraco NEU2168U compressor.

Recovered the existing refrigerant charge and removed the defective compressor. Installed a new liquid line filter drier and added refrigeration service access ports to improve future diagnostics and serviceability.

Pressure tested the refrigeration system and verified no leaks were present. Pulled the system into a deep vacuum to remove moisture and non-condensables, then recharged the unit with 150 grams of R290 refrigerant per manufacturer specifications.

Cleaned the condenser coil to improve airflow and overall system efficiency. Started and tested the unit, verifying proper compressor operation, refrigerant flow, and cooling performance. Monitored operation and confirmed the freezer was pulling down temperature normally.

Final operating pressures recorded:

Suction Pressure: 15 PSIG
Discharge Pressure: 180 PSIG

Unit was operating normally and cooling properly at the time of departure.
