Cleaned Hoshizaki Ice Machine. Upon arrival, unit was disassembled for inspection and found to have significant contamination within the water sump, including visible metal flakes. Condition indicates likely internal corrosion of the evaporator plate due to lack of routine cleaning and maintenance. Performed full teardown and deep cleaning of ice machine: Removed and disassembled internal components, Cleaned all removable parts thoroughly and flushed and cleaned water sump, removing debris and contamination. Ran manufacturer-approved ice machine cleaner through system. Cleared and flushed drain line, Cleaned condenser coil to restore proper airflow. Cleaned and sanitized ice bin and all food-contact surfaces. Reassembled unit and verified proper water flow and operation.
