Commercial walk-in freezer repair completed for an Eggs Up Grill location. Setpoint Services replaced a failed walk-in freezer condensate drain-line heater to correct a freezing issue at the evaporator drain.

The existing insulation was removed, and a new drain-line heater was installed and secured to the copper condensate drain line. The drain line was then reinsulated, secured with tape and zip ties, refastened to the walk-in freezer wall, and the new heater was connected to the evaporator.

After installation, the defrost clock was tested and confirmed operational. The new drain-line heater was measured at 0.23 amps, confirming that the heater was operating. The walk-in freezer was returned to service and verified to be operating normally.
