Setpoint Services performed an on-site assessment of an existing commercial ice machine at Whole Foods Market to develop a replacement proposal. The ice machine is connected to a remote refrigeration rack system, with refrigerant piping extending between the ice-making equipment and the rooftop refrigeration components.
During the evaluation, the existing refrigeration configuration and rooftop equipment were reviewed to determine the requirements for installing a replacement commercial ice machine. Considerations include compatibility with the existing rack refrigeration system, refrigerant requirements, electrical connections, refrigerant piping, and the possibility of converting to a self-contained ice machine if permitted by the facility.
Setpoint Services is currently preparing replacement options and evaluating the most practical installation approach for Whole Foods Market. The project remains in the quotation and planning stage, with no equipment replacement performed at this time.
