Setpoint Services performed commercial frozen margarita machine diagnostics and refrigeration repair at a restaurant in Kyle, Texas. The approximately 20-year-old, dual-barrel frozen beverage machine was experiencing cooling problems affecting both sides. Refrigeration service was performed on the right barrel, restoring its ability to freeze and produce frozen margaritas. Several refrigerant leaks were also identified during the service.
The left barrel required more extensive repairs to restore proper operation. Due to the machine's age, existing refrigerant leaks, and the cost of additional repairs, the decision was made to leave the left barrel out of service rather than invest further in the aging equipment. The right barrel was returned to operation, allowing the customer to continue producing frozen beverages while avoiding the expense of a complete refrigeration system overhaul.
