Commercial AC Repair in Austin TX – Frozen Coil, Dirty Air Filter

Diagnosed and repaired a commercial AC system at Smoothie King in Austin TX that was not cooling.

Upon arrival, the system was heavily iced over at the compressor and line set. Initial readings showed low suction pressure and poor system performance.

Performed full service including cleaning the condenser coil, de-icing the evaporator coil, and replacing two clogged 20x20x1 air filters. Also cleared both primary and secondary drain lines at the air handler.

After service, system pressures returned to normal and the unit is now operating properly with a 20°F temperature split between return and supply air.

Dirty coils, clogged filters, and restricted airflow were the main causes of the issue.
