Setpoint Services performed an on-site inspection of a commercial ice machine at a commercial facility on Ralph Ablanedo Drive in Austin, Texas. The customer reported that the ice machine was experiencing operational issues and required evaluation.
During the service visit, the technician inspected the equipment and determined that the ice machine was in need of a thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance service.
A complete ice machine cleaning and sanitizing service was recommended to remove accumulated mineral deposits, scale, and debris from the internal water circulation components, evaporator, and ice-making surfaces. Cleaning the condenser coil and inspecting the water distribution system were also recommended to help maintain reliable ice production and equipment efficiency.
No major component replacements were identified during this preliminary assessment. A follow-up cleaning and sanitizing service was recommended before determining whether additional refrigeration or mechanical repairs would be necessary.
