The refrigeration system was monitored through a complete automatic defrost cycle to verify proper operation. The walk-in cooler successfully entered and exited defrost as programmed, confirming the digital thermostat and defrost controls were functioning correctly. The unit was operating normally and maintaining temperature at the time of service. During the inspection, it was noted that the walk-in cooler does not have strip curtains installed, allowing excessive warm air infiltration whenever the door is opened.
