Setpoint Services performed commercial water chiller repair on an Elkay ER19-1D water chiller at UES in Round Rock, Texas. The R-134a refrigeration system was experiencing cooling problems caused by a failed condenser fan motor, defective freeze sensor, and heavily soiled condenser coil.

Following the initial diagnosis, the technician returned with replacement components and installed a new condenser fan motor and freeze sensor. The condenser coil was thoroughly cleaned using professional coil cleaner to remove accumulated dirt and debris, restore airflow, and improve heat transfer.

Refrigeration service access ports were installed to evaluate system operating pressures. After completing the repairs, the Elkay water chiller was restarted and tested while the connected sprinkler system was operating. Final readings included 18 PSIG suction pressure, 144 PSIG discharge pressure, and a 55°F water outlet line temperature.

The water chiller was observed operating normally following repairs and remained operational at the time of departure.
