Setpoint Services performed commercial ice machine repair at Finley's in Round Rock, Texas, servicing a Manitowoc Indigo NXT IDT1500N-261E ice machine operating on R-410A refrigerant.

The technician returned to replace a previously diagnosed faulty harvest assist component that was affecting the ice machine's harvesting operation. The defective component was removed, and a new replacement part was successfully installed.

During the service visit, restaurant management reported electrical sparking when the ice machine started. Further inspection of the electrical connections revealed a worn and damaged wire nut responsible for the sparking. The faulty connection was repaired by replacing the damaged wire nut and securing the electrical wiring.

Following the repairs, the Manitowoc ice machine was restarted and monitored for proper operation. No additional electrical sparking was observed during startup. The machine successfully completed a harvest cycle and released ice into the storage bin, confirming that the replacement harvest assist component was functioning correctly.

The commercial ice machine was operating normally at the time of departure, with both the harvest assist issue and damaged electrical connection successfully repaired.
