Walk-In Cooler Condenser Fan Motor Failure 09.04.26
Han · September 4, 2026 · Near 183A Toll Road, Cedar Park TX 78613

Setpoint Services performed emergency commercial refrigeration service on the walk-in cooler at Tumble 22 in Cedar Park, Texas after the condenser fan motor failed. Because the walk-in cooler is critical to restaurant operations, a temporary repair was performed to keep the refrigeration system operating while the correct replacement condenser fan motor is on order.
The location's walk-in cooler and ice machine use matching condenser fan motors. To restore cooling as quickly as possible, Setpoint Services temporarily removed the functioning condenser fan motor from the ice machine condenser and installed it on the walk-in cooler condenser. The ice machine was shut down, allowing the existing motor to temporarily keep the walk-in cooler operational until the permanent repair can be completed.
Two new condenser fan motors have been ordered. One will replace the failed walk-in cooler condenser fan motor, and an additional matching motor was ordered for the ice machine condenser. Once the replacement motors arrive, Setpoint Services will return to install the new motors, restore the ice machine to service, and verify proper operation of both commercial refrigeration systems.
This temporary commercial refrigeration repair allowed the restaurant's walk-in cooler to remain operational rather than leaving the critical refrigeration system down while waiting for replacement parts.
