Setpoint Services performed a comprehensive commercial refrigeration assessment on the existing walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer systems at Hot Spot 61 in San Antonio, Texas. The inspection included rooftop condensing units, evaporator coils, refrigeration piping, electrical disconnects, condenser supports, suction line insulation, and the overall condition of the refrigeration equipment. The evaluation determined that both refrigeration systems had reached or exceeded their expected service life. Significant deterioration was observed, including weathered rooftop condensing units, deteriorated suction line insulation, aging electrical components, corroded condenser supports, and declining overall system reliability. Based on the condition of the equipment, refrigerant type, component availability, and projected repair costs, additional repairs were determined to be economically impractical. Setpoint Services recommended complete replacement of both the walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer refrigeration systems, including new condensing units, evaporator coils, refrigeration controls, upgraded suction line insulation, new condenser supports, strip curtains, crane installation, and electrical evaluation. A complete commercial refrigeration replacement proposal was prepared to provide a reliable, energy-efficient, long-term solution for the facility in San Antonio, Texas.

Setpoint Services completed a commercial rooftop HVAC repair at Renzo Gracie Pflugerville after diagnosing a severe refrigerant restriction caused by a plugged liquid line filter drier. Prior to repair, the RUUD rooftop air conditioning system was operating with discharge pressures exceeding 500 PSIG and suction pressure near 20 PSIG, indicating a major restriction that placed excessive stress on the compressor. The refrigerant was recovered, a leaking Schrader valve and restricted liquid line filter drier were replaced, and the refrigeration circuit was pressure tested to locate and repair a refrigerant leak. The system then underwent a triple evacuation and deep vacuum to remove moisture and non-condensables before being recharged with the manufacturer-specified 8-pound refrigerant charge. Final operating pressures stabilized at approximately 60 PSIG suction and 260 PSIG discharge, confirming the rooftop HVAC system had returned to normal cooling operation. Due to the prolonged operation under extreme head pressure, recommendations were provided for future compressor replacement or complete rooftop HVAC system replacement to improve long-term reliability and efficiency. This commercial HVAC repair included refrigerant leak repair, filter drier replacement, refrigerant recovery and recharge, pressure testing, evacuation, and rooftop air conditioning performance testing in Pflugerville, Texas.

Setpoint Services completed walk-in cooler door repair for a commercial refrigeration system in Austin, Texas. The walk-in cooler door had become misaligned after a roller assembly came off track, preventing proper operation and door sealing. Technicians inspected the walk-in cooler door assembly, reset the roller onto the track, adjusted door alignment, and verified proper sealing. Multiple operational tests were performed to ensure smooth opening and closing and to prevent future alignment issues. The walk-in cooler door was restored to normal operation and returned to service without additional repairs required. This project included walk-in cooler repair, walk-in cooler door repair, refrigeration door alignment, commercial refrigeration service, and restaurant refrigeration maintenance in Austin, Texas.

Setpoint Services completed emergency commercial refrigeration repair for a restaurant prep table in Cedar Park, Texas. The refrigeration system was unable to maintain food-safe temperatures due to an extremely low refrigerant charge. Technicians diagnosed the refrigeration circuit and confirmed the unit was operating below normal suction pressure because of refrigerant loss. Refrigerant was added to restore proper operating conditions and cooling performance. The prep table was monitored through operation and successfully pulled product temperatures down from 55°F to approximately 38°F prior to departure. Recommendations were provided for refrigerant leak detection and permanent service port installation. This project included prep table repair, commercial refrigeration service, refrigerant charging, restaurant refrigeration repair, and emergency refrigeration service in Cedar Park, Texas.

Setpoint Services completed commercial refrigeration repair for a Bally condensing unit serving a refrigeration system in Round Rock, Texas. The refrigeration system was shutting down on high head pressure due to severe condenser coil contamination and low refrigerant charge. Technicians cleaned the condenser coil to restore airflow and improve heat rejection. Refrigerant was added to restore proper operating pressures and improve cooling performance. System operating conditions were monitored and verified after repairs. Additional inspection identified a failing condenser fan motor and recommendations were provided for future replacement. Leak detection services were also recommended due to the low refrigerant condition. This project included commercial refrigeration repair, condenser coil cleaning, refrigerant charging, condensing unit service, and refrigeration maintenance in Round Rock, Texas.

Setpoint Services completed beer cooler and glycol chiller diagnostics for a brewery in San Marcos, Texas. The customer reported excessive beer foaming and elevated beverage temperatures at dispensing stations. Technicians evaluated walk-in cooler performance, glycol chiller operation, refrigeration pressures, and thermostat calibration. Testing revealed inaccurate thermostat sensing that was allowing product temperatures to rise above desired serving temperatures. Thermostat positioning was corrected and glycol chiller settings were adjusted to improve beverage cooling performance. Beer temperatures were reduced significantly and proper dispensing performance was restored. This project included beer cooler repair, glycol chiller service, brewery refrigeration diagnostics, walk-in cooler troubleshooting, and commercial refrigeration repair in San Marcos, Texas.
